With just a hint of nostalgia and a heavy dose of vibrant prints, fall in love with childrenswear brand Bread & Jam.

With dresses as sweet as their name, StyleNest have well and truly fallen for this range of gorgeous dresses from British brand, Bread & Jam. Meant to be worn everyday by playful little girls, the simple dresses use comfy cotton, simple shapes and retro inspired fabrics to create a selection of frocks that could have easily been hand-me-downs from the 60s (all be it in mint condition).

There are only two dress styles on offer which make a Bread & Jam dress all that more special. There’s the Pick-A-Pocket Dress – a cotton pinafore with a handy little pocket in a contrasting fabric – perfect for carrying around any little girl’s must-haves be it a tiny teddy or a cheeky biscuit. Available in plenty of bright colours and themed fabrics from pretty ponies to kooky cats, and even a skull print for any little rock chicks out there, there’s sure to be a Pick-A-Pocket dress no matter what her style.

The Runaway Dress is perhaps a little dressier, with more floral, girly prints to choose from. We particularly love The Sound of Music Print (remember those outfits made from curtains?) and the kooky Sushi Print. Although there are only two dress styles to choose from it actually feels like there a much more on offer due to all the fabulously different, vibrant prints. A range of soft, long sleeved t-shirts are also available to wear underneath so your little girl can wear her Bread & Jam dress come rain or shine.

The brand was founded by friends Sofia Dyson and Lisa Swerling in 2009.
