Halloween Treats at The Corinthia

spiders tartEnjoy Halloween treats with The Corinthia’s spooky afternoon tea.

The Lobby Lounge at The Corinthia plays host to afternoon tea with a twist this Halloween. Forgo your usual afternoon tea fodder for something far more ghoulish.

The Corinthia is one of London’s top hotels, situated just moments from Trafalgar Square, Westminster and Covent Garden, whilst also being close to Mayfair and The City’s Square Mile. The hotel combines elegant luxury, with contemporary styling, making it the hotel of choice for the world’s most fashionable crowd.

This October, The Corinthia have decided to do something a little different with the quintessentially British notion of afternoon tea. The entire menu has been transformed to include a selection of truly terrifying, yet tremendously tasty treats.

The Witch’s Hat is made from a delectable raspberry macaron, topped and filled with fresh raspberries and cream and the Poisonous Mushroom combines chocolate fudge with lime cream to really tingle your tastebuds. The Spider’s Tart is made with pumpkin custard and topped with edible cobweb and spider for a creepy delight and the Broomstick is a delicious blackcurrant mousse with deadly black ink jelly. Our favourite though, has to be the ghoulish Bat Battenberg, adorned with a flying bat.

The Corinthia’s Halloween Afternoon Treats Tea is available for a limited time only from Sunday 28th October until Wednesday 31st October. The Halloween Afternoon Treats Tea is  £39 per person. If you want to add some fizz to your tea, the Laurent-Perrier Afternoon Tea is £49  per person. For those with a taste for rose champagne, the Laurent-Perrier Rose Afternoon Tea £58 per person. To book call +44 (0) 20 7321 3150, or visit The Corinthia’s website at www.corinthia.com/london.
