WAPHYTO

If you’re searching for a new plant-based beauty product that you can trace to the source, Waphyto originates from the area of Mikawa, which is regarded as one of the purest regions in Japan. Situated on the geological Median Tectonic Line, which is one of Japan’s longest, it is said to be one of the most energised places on earth yielding an abundance of vitamin-rich plants and botanicals, which lend themselves seamlessly to ingredients for wellbeing.

Waphyto is the brainchild of  Atsuko Morita, who has devoted a lifetime to studying plant sciences. Her award-winning discoveries have made her a leading authority in the field of bio methodological phytotherapy – a combination of French phytotherapy and traditional Japanese herbology, resulting in effective botanical ingredients for her innovative, targeted products.

The high-spec of the ingredients and thorough research by the company’s scientists has resulted in a range of products suitable for men, women and kids. With an ethos of being Elemental, Ethical, Environmental and Empowering, the brand is committed to preserving nature and promoting the wellbeing of human beings.

With years of study and the power of Mother Nature, Atsuko has released a range devoted to female self-care, fertility issues, and reproductive health; including nutritional supplements and self-care products for prenatal or postnatal, menopause and mental health.

I sampled some hair care products, which as you might imagine were so pure that you could imagine you were in a rainforest waterfall! However, in reality, I was in my bathroom in Brighton. You don’t need much Elevate shampoo to get a good lather, and the result is a conker-skin shine (on my brunette hair that is!) If you have time, follow with Nurture conditioner for a complete step out of the salon look.

Offering facial products such as Regina foam wash and Regina enriched cream, which may be a little pricey, but a little goes a long way; it’s great to look good and feel good in the knowledge that you’re helping the planet in your own little way. Now where did I put my halo?
