I’ve almost forgotten that my hair is wavy due to the amount of products and straightening techniques I use, but this summer I have embraced my mop with Naturtint, with their products that are specially dedicated to curly girls.

The range consists of five different curly hair to help manage curls and waves plus giving extra protection;  starting with a gentle Curl Definer Shampoo which is a ‘lo poo’ so it doesn’t lather much, it was light enough refresh my short hair and remove the heaviness and build up.

I followed this with a deep conditioning Curl Definer Hair Mask, which, if I’m honest, was a bit of a mission to open, so I’d advise doing this before you jump in the shower if it’s your first go so you’re not faffing too much. Leave on until it soaks in, and comb through. My top tip is to brush your teeth in the shower whilst you’re doing a conditioning treatment, so it gives it time to penetrate and you can kill two chores at the same time!

After washing off and towelling dry, I could see the bounce already, and rather than weighing my hair down with even more products, I just spritzed and scrunched with a tiny blob of Curl Definer Leave-In Conditioner which was a silky creme that kept the frizz at my parting at bay.

The whole experience was a treat for my heat damaged hair and I will definitely embrace my waves in the future as my hair feels lighter and fresh and super shiny. I’m looking forward todigging the ‘beach hair’ look thanks to Naturtint this summer.
