DON’T FORGET YOUR ORDO TOOTHBRUSH

When I received my lovely pearlescent toothbrush box from Ordo, I was expecting good things from the packaging alone; available from Boots, Superdrug and most high street retailers, it is the third-largest electric toothbrush brand in the UK, so I felt confident that what was inside was going to be a winner too.

Once opened, the toothbrush is pretty eye-catching, with a simple design that is attractive to  electric toothbrush newbies, and no fancy Apps required. Each pearly-coated brush has just four straightforward brushing modes to get into all the nooks and crannies: clean, white, massage and sensitive, which are activated by a simple press of your thumb, highlighted with a backlight to indicate what mode you’re in.

The toothbrush also remembers the last setting you were on so there’s no need to switch to your favourite every time, which is ideal if, a, you’re in a rush and, b, don’t like to faff and just want to brush your teeth!

The Sonic side of things means it pulses 40,000 times a minute, and by using pulses instead of rotating, you’re far less likely to damage your teeth, so it just glides around your mouth as if dancing on ice; and there’s a handy feature which stops vibrating every 30 seconds to let you know to move to a different quadrant of your mouth, and after two minutes cuts out completely, so you know your brushing is done!

You charge your baby with a basic USB connector, so you’ll have to take it out of the bathroom and find an electrical socket or laptop, but it charges overnight and quite happily lasts for up to four weeks, brushing twice daily for two minutes.

With my sensitive teeth and tendency to leave brushing to the very last minute, this brush is the ideal fuss-free brush that looks great in my bathroom, and it’s a great price for replacement heads too!
